systems for solopreneurs.
I build
good
(emphasis on the good)
My clients want their systems to align with their values, prioritizing ethics over efficiency.
In practice, that has looked like:
Divesting from Google
Avoiding platforms and companies on the BDS list
Using AI sparingly/more intentionally
Focusing on accessibility and equity
Using platforms that prioritize privacy and transparency
Unfortunately, compromise is necessary in the world of tech—no company is perfectly ethical. But I always do my best to build good systems, in every sense of the word.
I am a biracial, Black, aro-ace woman with ADHD and OCD. My preferred pronouns are she/her/hers.
Majority of the clients I’ve worked with are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, chronically ill or disabled, anti-capitalist, or a combination of all of the above.
I provide systems support to folx who often feel misaligned with the “normal” way of doing business. They are ready to collaborate with someone who won’t judge or try to change them; someone who can give them a gut check when a system feels misaligned.
I’m likely not the strategist for you if:
You are looking for someone to help you “growth hack” your biz
You want to use AI to cut corners or avoid paying someone what they’re worth
You expect the systems alone to sell your offer and make you a bunch of money (I wish it were that simple)
You want to work with someone who stays on top of industry trends and mirrors what other people are doing instead of focusing on what will work best for you
I work with rebellious people who aren’t afraid to go against the grain—because it means they’re staying true to who they are and what they need.
How I Use AI
I try to use AI sparingly in my business, and do my best to use it in a way that feels good. Truthfully, my stance ranges from ‘maybe it’s not so bad’ to ‘I’m the worst person in the world for using this’ depending on the day.
I use Granola AI to take notes for me during meetings. I see this as more of an accommodation than anything else, as auditory processing is difficult for me. And it helps me stay present with my clients.
I also use Claude AI to help me break down information and sometimes write ugly first drafts of things I write on behalf of my retainer clients (so it captures their tone/voice accurately). Right now, I pay $20/mo for the Pro version.
At one point, I tried writing a newsletter using Claude and it felt really bad, so I don’t do that anymore. All my blog posts, newsletters, and 1-1 emails are written by me—em dashes and all!
I don’t use AI to create a client’s systems strategy, that comes from years of experience and knowledge. However, sometimes I use Granola or Claude to summarize recommendations I made verbally during a strategy call using AI transcription.
I believe the way we choose to use AI is up to us, and where to draw the line is up to you. You are allowed to redraw the line when it feels appropriate to do so.
Overall, I believe it’s important to continue questioning the norms when it comes to AI adoption. As the use of it continues to grow, you’re allowed to resist in whatever way feels right and good to you.
Alignment + Authenticity drive everything I do.
I will always reserve the right to evolve or change my mind. I’m the kind of person who values freedom over consistency.
I’ll change my brand colors twice in one year if it means I’m staying true to myself. I’ll ‘break up’ with a retainer client if we are no longer a good fit. I’ll leave Google Workspace for Proton on a whim because it feels like the right thing to do (I did), even if it’s a less efficient platform (it is).
I believe life is too short to be consistent but miserable. My approach to business and systems strategy (and life, tbh) relies heavily on adaptability, personal integrity, and intuition.
